The leadership--both principal and teachers--is outstanding. We have been pleased with our teachers and how much our child has grown. Hubbell does a great job with gifted children and we have been especially pleased with the innovative methods teaching reading comprehension. The parent community is very active and it has been easy to develop friendships by participating in the many class room and school functions. Too much focus on woke and unimportant issues and not enough on providing children with a solid education and discipline. I have no idea how the current principal got the position, he seems useless, and is a poor communicator. Doubt he has ever taught and frankly it shows.Parent Review1y ago

"It's in the center of Des Moines, close to everything but with it's own neighborhood feel. I feel this is one of the only neighborhoods in Des Moines outside of downtown where you could get along without owning a car. Access to a lot of shops, restaurants and services."
