6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son really likes the diverse atmosphere and incredible creative ways that the pricipal provides. Some teachers are awesome and others not so awesome. I hate having to pick out individual teachers that do not represent the kind of incredible ability to teach, inspire and reach out to their students. I understand that teachers are in short supply and good teachers are hard to come by. But I must say that teaching is an art. Nit a job you just decide to do because you think it's easy or that your benefits is all that matters. One such teacher came across to me in this fashion. his initials is D. Y. and I am not pleased that this school has an individual working that does to represent the kind of ability to teach and get involved as everyone else does. In a way, teachers are like your best friend to help you learn and grow and develop. Not be afraid to ask a question in fear of being ridiculed in class or inculted as to not do their homework. English is a very inportant subject and a teacher should be able to teachthis correctky, make it fun, bring the class together and learn together. This is the kind of spirity I gather from the overall aspect of thos school. One individual is not made of the same substance and is on his own mission and agenda. I do not understand how he was able to get this job. My eldest son went here and he has only positive things to say with high marks as one of his memorable schooling experiences. Not so with my current son enrolled and experienced these issues in the past year.Parent Review2y ago - President William Mckinley High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel like it has been an average experience. I haven’t been to other high schools so I don’t know how to compare but it has all sorts of people. 4.5 gpa students, students who don’t even come to class, teachers who really suck at teaching and teachers who you wish was your teacher for all subjects because they were so good.Student Review4y ago - Queen Kaahumanu Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a proud parent of my children s that attended Queen Ka'ahumanu School. There are lots of care and aloha you can see in this school. The teachers and staff work so hard in helping and teaching students that really need the assistance. From students who can speak English, to students who cannot speak English. Great help and support from the faculty and staffs. Thank you for all your assistance.Parent Review10y ago - Anuenue School

"Very convenient for work, school, shopping . A lot of traffic but gets you to the place you’re going. Have a great view of the harbor and very lucky to watch fireworks every Friday night right from home. "

"Central to everything and to the freeway I like that I can walk to the stores near me. I do live on one main busy road where people have side swiped my car with no cares being that we have to park on the street. Plus there’s a half way house down the road from us so it’s a little scary."
