6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son really likes the diverse atmosphere and incredible creative ways that the pricipal provides. Some teachers are awesome and others not so awesome. I hate having to pick out individual teachers that do not represent the kind of incredible ability to teach, inspire and reach out to their students. I understand that teachers are in short supply and good teachers are hard to come by. But I must say that teaching is an art. Nit a job you just decide to do because you think it's easy or that your benefits is all that matters. One such teacher came across to me in this fashion. his initials is D. Y. and I am not pleased that this school has an individual working that does to represent the kind of ability to teach and get involved as everyone else does. In a way, teachers are like your best friend to help you learn and grow and develop. Not be afraid to ask a question in fear of being ridiculed in class or inculted as to not do their homework. English is a very inportant subject and a teacher should be able to teachthis correctky, make it fun, bring the class together and learn together. This is the kind of spirity I gather from the overall aspect of thos school. One individual is not made of the same substance and is on his own mission and agenda. I do not understand how he was able to get this job. My eldest son went here and he has only positive things to say with high marks as one of his memorable schooling experiences. Not so with my current son enrolled and experienced these issues in the past year.Parent Review2y ago - King William Lunalilo Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a small school, that tries its best. The student population is known by all the staff, and cared for deeply. The school is like a family that looks after each other.I would recommend Kaimuki High School to anyone who is not only lives in the neighborhood, but to people who want to have their child have a more personalized education. Parent involvement is very welcome, and encouraged.Parent Review2y ago - Anuenue School

What Locals Say about McCully

"Many smaller breeds live here. Aside for this gorgeous Great Dane who is always impressive in his manners. That said, the small breed doggie or their owner might not enjoy a bully breed. Unfortunately. Worst case, ask around on nextdoor. Even the larger pups around here I have met have all been friendly but it might worry you or them. Also you can hear the fireworks on Fridays so if the pups don't do well with them keep it in mind."
