6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been here for six years with our children. Some of the administration here are very disrespectful to not only the students but, the parents also. You are made to feel unwelcome at the school as a parent. Our second child there is in the autism program has been treated awful. I would never recommend putting your child here. Where they comes across uncaring and rude. And all that matters are the test scores and the appearance of the school.Parent Review2y ago - Mcconnell Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI definitely wouldn’t put your student in this school if the are on an IEP. If you live in this district and your child has an IEP I would recommend and IEP school transfer to a school that will be able to accommodate your child better then this one. Teachers should not be teaching any special education classes without a past education, with certifications on how to teach child with IEPs.Parent Review4mo ago - Archer High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRacism in this school is atrocious ...in all directions. Multiple fights occur daily which happens in all school because kids today are savage but the fights at archer are knock down drag out brawls. Two students brought guns on the same day and the students were taken in but no lockdown happened....where is the concern for our kids safety? Not to mention the recent homecoming disaster. Homecoming is open to all grades, however they only have the space and tickets to accommodate 1/3 of the students. Tickets went on sale and the website would not work because so many people were scrambling to get on and grab the few tickets that were sold. We tried for hours to no avail only for the school to respond and say sorry for the inconvenience the site crashed due to too many people being online and we are not selling any more tickets. This would have been my daughters first high school dance and we already paid for a dress, shoes, accessories and alterations ….all of which are non refundable. Most importantly she is devastated and so upset now that she cannot go due to the schools lack of planning. Im sorry but simple math tells you they sold 1000 tickets only at $25 each. That's $25,000 they made in ticket sales. You mean to tell me you cannot get a larger venue with $25K to accommodate all of your students and give them all an opportunity to purchase a ticket to homecoming? Another common sense though would be if you cant accommodate all students why open homecoming to 9th and 10th graders. Keep it to juniors and seniors if that's the case. Another option would be restrict homecoming attendance to students who keep their grades at a certain level. My child is an excellent student in gifted and AP classes with straight A's yet she has no option to attend the homecoming now.Additionally students that didn't have dates purchased multiple tickets for themselves and are attempting to sell them to other kids now for more? The PTA and school need to get it together. I will be joining the PTA because they clearly do not know what they are doing at this school and I am appalled.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 2330 Day Break Way.
