7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children in this school. One is having an ok time and has a good teacher. My older child comes home every day complaining about how the kids bully him. We spoke with the teacher and there has been no change or engagement from the teacher in addressing the bullying. The teacher even told our kid the bullying was just a joke and they weren't trying to be hurtful. I don't want to give specifics because this school has a reputation of retribution on students with parents who rock the boat; but he was being bullied and the teacher should have taken action. Now my child is scared to even address it because the "teachers are scary".Other Review2y ago - Aaron Cohn Middle School

"commuting is not bad at all there's a bus stop at almost every corner so there's no problem of getting around only thing is that there's not enough places that I can go and just enjoy myself within the city being that there's a lot segregation and discrimination going on within this beautiful city in which I think if we had outlets to enjoy it will decrease the unneighborly feel of the city"

"Lock your doors. There is a big mix of lifestyles here and that makes crime abundant. The area needs gentrification and cleanup in places. Then it would be safer for everyone. Houses could be more affordable if they were not gems in the rough. "
