We were worried at first how that would pan out, but because Monte Sano has such wonderful and understanding teachers they did just fine. They have done a great job of helping them transition and making them feel right at home. We really could not have asked for a better school. The teachers and staff are strict on a lot of things but work very hard to keep it as safe, but still welcoming to parents as possible. Fights would constantly break out, people would throw paper balls at teachers, and not to mention the fact that bullying was an ongoing thing, and nothing was done about it. And can we just talk about the staff, really quick? They see what is happening, but they do nothing except for call the principal or assistant principal to the classroom and put them in check. And just to be clear, you may think that they will act better around substitutes since they give reports to teachers and things like that, but it's worse than the teacher being present. It gets so bad that students try to gang up on the sub and fight them and argue back to them using vulgar words.
