The administration ignores emails, messages and requests for meetings with parents. Their voice-message mailboxes are constantly "full" because they don't do their jobs. The teachers try their hardest to sabotage and get their students to stumble and fall academically instead of supporting their students. The IB program is a disgrace since students are only treated as statistics and not as individuals. Teachers do not even know the subject matter that they are teaching and cannot answer basic student questions. How can a school exist like this? We have had a wonderful experience! The teachers are amazing, caring, and kind professionals. Admin is very accessible and easy to work with. It makes me feel good that my I drop my girls off every day at Lewis, and I know they are loved and safe. My girls have thrived academically and emotionally. The school is so supportive of not only the children that attend the school. They are also supportive of the whole family. The education process is truly a partnership between the child's family and their teachers. I couldn't have asked for a better elementary school experience for my kids.Parent Review5mo ago

"where I live I often will see pet owners taking the dogs for a walk. they have started putting in more pet areas which is helpful. there are also a few pet stores around so you don't have to go out of the way for pet supplies."

"It’s got it’s nice areas and it’s not so nice, just like any city or town. Lots of public transport especially on 56th street &Bush Blvd. Fowler has some buses, or used to that didn’t run down that major street but plenty of busses that cross it and drive down a small part of the street. Running typically the busses run ėvery 10 mins. I’m pretty sure All Day Bus passes 4 the Hillsborough bus r still $4 & a 1~way cost $2 so busses are free. USF, Wawa,(1 more on Bush almost finished) lots of restaurants for both college students, as well as Professionals at or in the area near the University Mall. There’s places area for nature walks, hiking, Canoeing, etc."

"Temple terrace is generally a clean community with parks and single family homes. I’ve lived here since 2012 and have always felt secure and never had any issues. It’s affordable and they have their own city police who maintain a sense of security. Whatever you do, don’t speed. They will pull you over! "

"Just be aware of the kids in the parking area they come out of nowhere on their bikes. Neighbors are to themselves. It’s pretty much quite. The pool on the other hand when it’s not trashed by other siders is okay. "
