3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a great school! I cannot say enough about the Principal Jim Pauley and his outstanding administration. Most of their teachers hold advanced degrees to teach in the IB Program. We had teachers in both traditional and IB schools. They all did an excellent job. We are sadly leaving after 4 great years. I can highly recommend this school to all parents. A big thank you to all faculty and administration at Southeast High School and, as always, GO NOLES!Parent Review8y ago - Florine J Abel Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a teacher here at Abel and I have watched it grow over the past couple years into a really wonderful place for students, teachers, parents, and all additional staff members. Our staff as a whole all love our students and families and want to see them succeed. We are a school that gets to watch entire families grow up as the first child comes through and brings along all their siblings as well. This allows us to really feel like a family and have that family community. Under the direction of our new principal, Samantha Webb, and our assistant principal, Jennifer Moore, the vision and mission of the school has evolved to put its students at the heart of it while also supporting the learning and development of its teachers. Abel is a wonderful place to learn, grow, and discover how to be the best you can be.Parent Review1y ago - Electa Lee Magnet Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy granddaughter who was a straight A student the first 2 quarters, went to a student struggling because 3 of her teachers all went on leave or left. The substitute teachers she had for rest of year didn't grade work or lost work so that her grades dropped dramatically to the point I went to school and still couldn't get any answers. I think I'm going to remove her and send her somewhere else.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 6858 Whitman Way.

"Variety of home styles brings in variety of residents, permanent and seasonal. Rules are strict and neighborhood monitors report the smallest of violations, such as leaving your garbage bins out late if you have a long day or putting them out too early, not pruning dried palm fronds immediately, and not planting garden areas to match neighbors. If you are not here full time or are away on vacation you must hire someone to be sure you don’t violate any of the very picky rules. Residents have little use of the club, tennis, pickleball or golf courses without paying exorbitant fees. Having said that, as an elderly woman living alone I feel safe in this development. The safety patrol is responsive and will come 24-7 if you have a concern. Not much of a neighborhood feel."
