"Easy access to Downtown St Pete - less than 10 minutes and very easy access to 1275 to Tampa off 5th Ave North"
  • Elyherman
"Many people have dogs and walk them in the neighborhood. People are respectful and clean up after their animal’s waste."
  • Savvy240
"Nice neighbors and easy access to beach, downtown and the surrounding areas. It’s very walkable and quiet, with lots of trees. "
  • Trulia User
"city bus and also riding my bike as much as possible just long as it is safe to travel on these congested roads in this area "
  • Trulia User
"Over crowded, everyone in a rush, there's always a crash and fairly large amount of the homeless population. "
  • Tracy S.
"Community food table with veggies and fruits. Neighborhood groups send updates. Friendly neighbors that have dinners and happy hours"
  • Dawndeena H.
"People pick up after their dogs. There’s not a lot of excessive dog barking. Nice place to walk your dog and not a huge amount of traffic. "
  • Gertivila
"great location. 5 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from St. Pete beach. 5 minutes from Tyrone Mall "
  • Jason B.
"Convenient to the beach and interstate. No flood zones but poor schools. Nice neighbors. It is typically very quiet but have had issues with car break-ins. "
  • Melissa S
"Car broken into too many times to count. The neighbors are great, but the transients are bad. Hookers & junkies. "
  • Fiver5r
"It’s a very dog friendly area! Neighbors are great, too, about posting on the neighborhood’s webpage quickly if anyone’s dog gets out and is seen or found in the neighborhood."
  • missumikey@yahoo.com
"we all exchanged cookies at Christmas and all the dogs got together and played it was fun there is always a bad apple in the bunch"
  • Darrelnmaggie
"actually the nieghnrs here are very nice and we exchanged cookies at Christmas everyone just kind of minds their own business pretty much.its very quiet especially at night"
  • Janiptt60
"Neighborhood watchers, organized get together, neighbors helping each other. Having a community board that shows concern for improving living within our community."
  • Jmahomond
"Lots of families with young kids moving in. Lots of stroller walking and people walking their dogs. Neighborhood is changing. Not walking distance to stores. "
  • Kelly B.
"Most homeowners show care in their home ownership. It’s quiet and comfortable. Lake, church and nice neighbors"
  • Amy p.
"Local Elementary school, lots of pets and kids outside. Friendly people. No controlling neighborhood association. Located within the wonderful city of St. Petersburg! Our neighborhood is in the middle between downtown to the east and the beaches to the west! 10-15 minutes for both! Amazing location!"
  • Researcherjoejoe
"lived in this area since 2011. Neighbors are friendly and no drama. most of the neighbors have lived here for a very long time. Oh and there are coyotes in the neighborhood. Yes I said coyotes. haven't heard that they have caused any problem. Other than that great neighborhood to live in "
  • Bridget_remington
"This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Most homeowners have lived here many, many years and take pride in their homes and the neighborhood. In the mornings and evenings, people are out walking their dogs or exercising. Many of the streets have oak-lined medians. I have not experienced the issues with crime or trash the poster from 4 years ago described, and I have lived here for 12 years."
  • Glenn R.
"Lots of burglaries , car thefts , prostitutes hanging out one block away. Forget about keeping your yard looking nice. I used to pick up the trash that was thrown by passing cars daily until I gave up. Have had stolen cars abandoned twice in the alley directly behind my house , car broken into at 10am in the morning , all my neighbors have home break ins . Transients roam the alley constantly. Look elsewhere. "
