4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school that is very hands on and open with the kids. Feels nice knowing your child is somewhere safe that they say is like a family, especially with serious situations such as bullying taken very serious and not downplayed. Whether these test results are accurate of a low score of 4/0 I don’t believe given such hard work the teachers implement into each student.Parent Review3mo ago - Turkey Creek Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are many fights at this school and its very crowded once you get to 7th and 8th grade. It can also get a bit dangerous when going to your next class since there are some kids occasionally you play around and accidentally bump and push others which can hurt kids who just want to go to class and be left alone. The schools rules are a bit much like for example in the cafeteria. Some students also make fun if what I wear and I see others makes fun of students about the type if phone they have and what they look like which I find horrible and can cause students ti have a low self-esteem and 4uin their day. Even though these things happen I just have to ignore them and focus on my work.Teachers way of teaching are pretty good and I've learned many thing at school for my future education. I do want to day though is that most administration don't really help much with students mental health since students feel scared or don't need to since they probably won't do anything to help. I've only met 2 adults(besides teachers because most are good) that I felt the most comfortable than the other administration. All in all though I think its a decent school for your kid to go to and I do have some fun and memorable moments here too.I would like it if the administration or the office change some if their rules to make them better suited for kids like me who want some space, even just a little, so I can just focus on my work and be done and go home.Parent Review1y ago - Durant High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDue to career moves my children have attended many schools in many different states. My children do very well academically. This is one of the worst schools we have attended. Many of the teachers, administrators, and guidance personnel at this school completely lack a moral compass of any kind. They will brazenly lie to your face and not think a thing about it. Teachers openly bully students and if you attempt to speak to administrators about this they will hide from your phone calls. The motto at this school seems to be pass the buck and shirk your duties. This is really a horrible role model for the students. I definitely recommend finding another high school for your children to attend.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 3512 Mud Lake Rd.

"The schools here are not rated very good in Plant City, except for just a few. My kids go to Walden Lake Elem, and that school is amazing but the others are not. There is a few free parks that are okay, but we just pay the $2/car and go to Ed Medard Park. The fresh food all year long is amazing, there is always fruit stands or fresh seafood vendors on the roads but my favorite is the produce stand on Branch Forbes Road. "
