I continually hear appalling stories from other parents and community members about the unprofessional and inconsiderate administration. I know of several issues that have been brought to admin that have been occurring for YEARS and nothing has been done! If you pay money to the school for sports or academics please keep in mind that there is absolutely NO guidelines on how the money is spent by coaches and teachers. The people who live here year round are great and any unfortunate problems we've witnessed were with visitors and out of town property owners but those are few and far between. This is a great place for outdoor activities and raising a family. "

"We lived in Sanford, FL (30 miles away) for two years and nearly every weekend visited New Smyrna Beach. We loved the atmosphere, climate and small town friendliness of the area. Shop owners downtown New Smyrna were the best! Loved it and would move back if retired!!"
