Locals say that Minneola is the best place to live in Central Florida. The indigenous lakes and hills give Minneola a unique hometown ambience. The location is ideal and the people are friendly. Here are a few examples demonstrating the benefits of this premium location. Everyone goes grocery shopping. Publix Super Market and BJ's Wholesale Club are both within 3.5 miles from the house. When you are thinking about education you want to know that Sumter State College, Pinecrest Academy Charter School and Minneola High School are all within 3.0 miles away. If you enjoy dining out occasionally, there are several great restaurants nearby. The Crooked Spoon, Oakwood Grill, Carabbas' Italian Grill, and Texas Roadhouse (among others) are all within 3.0 miles from home. Retail Centers are close by, too. Target, Kohls, Lowes, Home Depot and many other nationally recognized retailers housed in local outdoor malls are within 5.0 miles of the house. Entertainment opportunities always add to the quality of life, too. Legends Golf Club, Clermont Bowling Center and the City of Clermont's Waterfront Park are all within 4.3 miles from home. Health care is a key component when choosing the best place to live. Orlando Health's South Lake Hospital is surrounded by private practice medical specialists affiliated with the hospital which is 1.6 miles from the Arbor Hill Circle property. Planet Fitness and the National Training Center are close by. The Orlando International Airport is 35 miles (50 minutes) away. There are many, many more relevant and beneficial places of interest that contribute to a fantastic quality of life in the immediate proximity of this classic Florida home. The house was built in 1998. In 1998 builders knew that having some space between houses is a good thing. This home is positioned on almost a quarter of an acre of land. Large lots are hard to find in today's new home market and if you do find a nice lot it is going to be expensive. If you do find a new home with a reasonable lot size the quality of life enhancing facilities and services listed above will be located a lot farther away. The roof on the subject property was replaced in 2019 and the water heater is three years old. The backyard is fenced with gates on both sides of the yard. This four bedroom, two bath home also features a screen enclosed covered lanai and an air conditioned bonus room accessible from the living room and the backyard. The kitchen is my favorite space in the house. The cabinets, counter tops and plumbing fixtures are of good quality. The kitchen is spacious, providing plenty of room for every day use and those special occasions when friends and family descend upon you for special events and holidays. The refrigerator, dishwasher and other kitchen appliances have been replaced within the last few years and are in good condition. The master bedroom is positioned on the south side of the house and the guest bedrooms are on the north side. Privacy at home is important from time to time. Her answer was to punish, embarrass and humiliate the student for his behavior, going so far as to tell him an 8 year old child after being absent one day for a doctor's visit that "they had such a wonderful day without him there". It is saddening that a Christian school seems not to practice what they preach. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur disdain for this school is not because of the teaching staff or the school itself, it is based on the ineffective and quite honestly, worthless administration. The Guidance Department in particular is a joke! Guidance is supposed to be just that, guidance for our children to help them succeed and prepare for college or otherwise. The Guidance staff at this school does not have time for the students and has even told my student that “they are not special just because they have As”. Great confidence booster! If they say they are going to do something, plan on following up “several” times because chances are they did not. This school claims to be all about college preparedness, but keep in mind your child will have to navigate through a lot of it on their own. My child’s guidance counselor has sent out emails with scholarship info, only to find that deadline had already passed. I will tell you that the teaching staff is undervalued. I had little concerns with the teachers. It is the admin that is awful. And the admin is crucial to the success of a school. My other pet peeve is that this school focuses on entirely the wrong things! Instead of worrying about a rip in the jeans or a shoulder being shown, we should encourage appropriate behaviors among the students. They tell these kids to be adults, but then the hypocrisy is that they treat them like children when it comes to their individuality. This is high school. In the real world they need to be prepared for many different things, which includes the choice and freedom to wear what you want. I realize this is an educational institution so there should be some regulations in place, but this school makes this much too important.Parent Review2y ago

"We just moved here from the Kissimmee area and couldn't be happier. We were looking for a small town feel, less traffic, and friendlier people - yet close enough to get to our Orlando jobs. The Clermont/Minneola area is beautiful with rolling hills and huge lakes that are great for fishing and boating. It seems like a growing area with new stores and restaurants popping up everywhere. We live in Oak Valley and already know most of our neighbors which is a far cry from our experience in the Kissimmee and Orlando Metro areas. Everyone is so nice here and welcoming. We frequent the local Tiki Bar off of Lake Minneola which seems to be a popular place for the locals. Sure, if you are looking for happening nightlife - stay in Orlando. If you want a bit of the country and simple living, come here."
