Our first experience was when I walked our son to summer football practice and another student offered him the use of his spare cleats and welcomed him to the team. (We had just arrived in town and the movers had not yet arrived with all out stuff.) This welcoming attitude was evident in all aspects of school life for my son, academics, sports, drama and honor society. "people love walking dogs on the beach and dog dog park at Sombrero Beach. A lot of restaurants are dog friendly. This is a great place for dog owners. "

"water front community , is a small island called Flamingo Island. We have a 9 hole golf course and just 5 minutes from Publix and Kmart. Sombrero beach is right at the outset of the canals on the Atlantic ocean and the people are very loving and friendly."
