2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would rate my experience at this school as an average experience. The administrative stuff and the teachers are really nice and helpful. The security is screaming at the students to move. One gets used to it.. The school offers all kinds of clubs, nobody has to feel left out. The level of education is truly not the best, many kids are on their phones during class or cheat on tests, there's almost no homework for non IB students. That has to change. There were some fights, especially at the end of the school year, because kids got bored. In overall Terry Parker High School is an okay school, which can still improve.Student Review5y ago - Arlington Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe just moved to Jacksonville from Miami Fl and honestly have never had a issue with anything in Jacksonville until I had to enroll my child in school let me start off with the enrolling process I enrolled my daughter and afterwards called the school to make sure I did everything correctly someone at the school told to bring in the documents to complete the registration so I ended up going to school and was told no you have to upload so went in the car and tried to upload the documents but there was no where to upload the document so i called the school and she told me because I did the registration already there was another way I had to upload but she just didnt know how to I finally figured itout by myself orrientation come which was nice but I wanted to confirm that my daughter was registered so kady took my name my childs name and my number and said she would called me and guess what no one called me I had to call the school every day and my child was not even in the system and people would tell me they would call me and I would never get a call back then when I tried to register my child for the bus they told me I could not register her for the bus because my child is not enrolled so now I am really nervous because its just me and my child in Jacksonville I have to work some days and now how is my child suppose to get to school then I order my child uniforms which you can only get from a specific place which is is not a issue but I order it July 20th and now the place may not have it ready until after school starts and now I have to go buy plain red polo shirts that my child cant even wear to school again after the uniforms are delivered to the school this is a nightmare and wish I had another option for schools in my areaParent Review8mo ago - Arlington Heights Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school! Do not send your child here if you can at all help it. My child attended school here for 3 years. She has been bullied by students and teachers. When she would go to a teacher about the bullying they told her to stop tattling. A child pulled my child to the ground by her hair in the lunch room and another student poured milk on her head and we were not notified at all. When the teachers would do nothing and she started defending herself they suspended her. If the teachers and staff aren't going to protect the students what are they supposed to do?!Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near Macy Ave.

"Quiet peaceful neighborhood just a short distance from the ghetto. It feels safe, but have had some unsettling experience as I’ve been here too long"

"It’s not the worst but it’s not a great place. Drugs everywhere keep your families close. You can keep private and you might be ok but it’s just not the place to live a nice life"

"There is lots of traffic, especially during school hours. My 6 minute drive takes 30 minutes to work. Other commutes to stores and restaurants are not bad. "

" Lawns are well kept and landscaped. Everyone is nice and neighbors are helpful. School children have manners. "
