The staff, teachers, administration, parents and students are great and the community at this school has helped to foster a love of learning in my children. Both of my kids have IEP's and their needs are well met, in addition there are extra curricular activities which they participate in after school. We moved to this neighborhood after my first child finished kindergarten at a different school. The other school was great, but Roosevelt has been even better! "Lots of tourists here, please keep an eye in your kids. The Beach also can be dangerous at times, even the traffic, if you want use your bikes. Never trust the Cars, because most of the people don’t live here. "

"We have Friday Fest on the 3rd Friday of every month in our downtown area. The Art Show and various other events as well such as parades, 5k's, Winterfest, etc. Great community, neighbors, and camaraderie here. "

"Always Last Friday’s Every month different events with music and food and shopping!!! Many people will come from different places and participate in the event. Tourists are everywhere . Family oriented events, lots of children, families, old couples, young couples, Singles of all Sort. The Traffic is closed in many streets and the Events range from 6:00Pm to 10:00Pm, sometimes later. So much fun!!!"

"Atlantic Ave (A1A) is the main road running through town, and it’s always crowded. Almost no one obeys the speed limit and pedestrians have been hit. Remind (older) kids to cross only at crosswalks and be aware of what’s coming in all directions at all times. Also, you need front and back lights on your bike at night or else the cops will pull you over & ticket you!"
