"This is a great beach town with small town charm. Missing are the lines of beachfront hotels and rental properties for a beach front state park and locally owned stores in small town. You will love the quaintness and history of Lewes Delaware. "

"My parents have a house in Lewes and Ive been visiting the area since i was born. I love this historic, all-American beach town with all my heart. It has changed alot (for the better) since I started vacationing/visiting down there. I would love nothing more than to bring my children up in Lewes Beach. So many thing for people of all ages to do like fishing, swiming, all kinds of sports, history tours and many other things to do, so many that I would need a week to list all of them. If youre looking for a place to vacation, settle down or retire this is the place to do it. Take a trip to Lewes and you WONT be dissapointed if youre a relax near the water kind of person. Even if youre not its still a great place. By the way I know of no gravel pit in Lewes nor have I ever heard of any crime at all. As a matter of fact they dont even need police in the area because nothing bad ever happens there its like it is shielded from the rest of the crumby world. Im not a real estate agenet or affiliated with the town at all. I live in NJ, im 35 and just love Lewes Beach! "
