"Don’t let your kids go out alone unsupervised. Make sure that they become very familiar with their surroundings. People drive like maniacs in New Britain, worse than Mass drivers. Also pedestrians think they have the right of way and often just walk out into traffic. Make sure your kids know how to cross the streets (crosswalks) they will live longer. "

"I grew up here and it's definitely not the same as back in the days as far as living. taxes are outrageous and schools have declined. I don't feel to safe even though we have new staff of police and a brand new billion dollar police station. it's modern day gentrification but with crime all around. "

"There are no special events going on out here it would be nice if they did.New Britain should build something out here for kids to go.They need a outlet instead of the streets. A place for all kids to go that is free because not all families have the money or maybe build a mall or movie theater. "
