6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere was and is nothing good about EOS. I was told by a guidance counselor my sophomore year that I would probably not graduate high school, let alone go to community college. From that point I was excluded from ECE and AP classes and even removed from my honors classes. I was excluded from classes that were required for college admissions (chemistry being one). I was a first gen student (my mom is an immigrant) and we knew nothing about the college process and clearly, guidance was unwilling to help. If you are not wealthy, have a strong last name or parental influence in the school and are not an athlete you will be left in the dark. Please save your kids from going to this school and being forgotten. Send them to Coventry, Windham/ Windham Tech or East Catholic or a prep/ CREC school if at all possible. If you can’t avoid EOS and you are a parent, fight for your kid and get outside college admissions assistance so you can help set your student up for success without depending on EOS staff. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery few schools offer a Pre K program, and I have been nothing but impressed with what my child has learned here. His teacher is amazing. You can tell she really LOVES her kids and teaches them the way she would her own. The secretaries are very nice and pleasant to talk to. Every teacher I have met has been so nice, and helpful. Even the bus drivers introduce themselves and become part of the great experience. The principal really makes the school great. The relationship he has with the students and faculty is wonderful. He gives out high 5's, helps them put their stuff in the lockers, holds doors. I have told my husband that we are not moving any time soon because I can't imagine not being a part of Vinton. "Clean up after them. Shopping centers are challenging. Very old and not maintained. There is shopping for your pets. Parking lots good for training them. "

" I've lived here since the mid 80's. It's quiet, lot's of wild life, close to walking and hiking trails, and close to Uconn, but not too close. Very historic area, and good neighbors."
