If you care about your kids, their educational needs and either teach them to advocate for themselves or you do it for them, you will be outcast by the administration. It's very sad some of the levels this school has stooped to with some of us families and our children, forcing us no choice but to take our kids elsewhere.Between the poor teachers they employ there, and the mistreatment of parents who want to help the school and their kids, I recommend looking into other schools nearby that have a better understanding of how an elementary school should be for students and parents.Parent Review5y ago - Coal Ridge High School

From conversations with my daughter, her friends, and her teachers, I could not have imagined a better year for her. Perfect? No. But for a small rural school with about 500 students which is located in a field in the middle of nowhere, this school does a great job with it's students.Other Review10mo ago

"It’s in the middle of the Rocky Mountains for starters! Secondly, it’s friendly, dogs included and the people are active and healthy overall. It’s a family town (bedroom community) more so than some of the other places in the area."

"My family lives in Castle Valley Ranch subdivision. We work in New Castle and volunteer throughout the community. Castle Valley Ranch subdivision has lots to offer with sidewalks, walking paths, trails that are all pet-friendly. The schools and skate park are close to all homes, and walk or drive a short distance to Main Street for a variety of eateries. "
