6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is Autistic and they put my son on a modified schedule because they cannot handle him. He's getting less than 4hrs of a school a day. I requested my son be transferred to a different school that could accommodate him and 2 wks later I'm still waiting for a call. The teacher and principal says that the modified schedule has made him worse, but yet they will do nothing about it. He's even regressed at home. I have put a call into the district already and contacted the Orange County Board. I do not recommend this school in any way for special education. They have failed to meet my sons needs.Parent Review1y ago - Orange High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon't take my word for it, but use any free time you have to come and explore one of the most beloved high schools in Orange County. No lip service when it comes to family, support, and opportunity; your kids WILL be great students and graduate not only with pride from the fruits of their labor, but with a sense of worth and a lifetime of experiences that have constructed the foundation for love, success, and life-changing relationships, from friends and faculty alike. Orange High School is a gem among gems and I promise... you will be HAPPY (forever) to be an OHS Panther!!Parent Review11mo ago - Portola Middle School

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a couple years now. During the day it is relatively safe. But at night it changes very quickly. I hear gunshots most nights, neighbors reporting cars getting stolen and broken into as well as homes getting broken into. Definitely not the worst neighborhood in SA but not the best."

"Seems like a friendly area. I don’t do much with the community but feels safe. Neighbors are good, sometimes loud but that’s expected with apartments. "

"This is a wonderful, charming, well maintained neighborhood. Everyone, no matter race, religion, ethnicity or orientation is welcomed and welcome. There are always people walking, Biking, skateboarding, any conveyance is seen. Young children and the elderly are seen interacting easily and happily. I’ll be sad to leave!"

"Many people walk their dogs here... the City doesn’t Center median’s sidewalks and curbs. In one day I reported 50 graffiti locations on a two mile walk. This location is Expensive because it’s near South Coast Plaza on the City of Santa Ana side. The elementary junior high and high school suck. The School district is rated very low within the state of California. As soon as my children are old enough to understand school we are moving. "
