Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from July 30, 2021
Enjoy the historic character and architecture of SLO with a modern touch. The original house was relocated to a new foundation and every aspect of the home was completely rebuilt. The original hardwood in the entrance and stairway remain to give homage to the homes history. Be sure to check out the artwork created from old letters found in the walls during the renovation. Both bedrooms upstairs have their own bathroom with an additional full bathroom downstairs. Very low maintenance home steps away from the Jenifer St bridge, downtown SLO and Sinsheimer Park. Large detached 1 car garage with a massive amount of storage in the loft. New house next door is currently under construction and is also available for sale.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and principal of this school (2006-2014) are extremely dedicated to making sure your child has a positive experience at learning. They expect your child to perform but at the same time offer a tremendous amount of support and encouragement. Both of my children are attending this school and both are learning Spanish. The parents are very involved and the care and attention this school gets is reflected in the culture and atmosphere to be found at Pacheco. Such a difference from when I was in elementary school!Parent Review10y ago - San Luis Obispo High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent I am not very impressed with this school. Sure, the test scores are high. But there is a lack of diversity at this school. The school requires parents to pay $600 upfront to cover the cost of the annual field trips. There is not a lot of allowance for lower income students to attend this school. The teachers and most of all, the principal, struggle to help students who need extra help and provide required accommodations. This school has a lot of shiny awards but neighborhood schools are a much better choice in my opinion if you are looking for community support for your student.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 2034 Swazey St.

"The town is very spread out, and when you need to go across town (work and school) it feels inconvenient and because the transit in slo is centered in the center of the city, it makes it even more difficult to choose public transit. "

"I work within walking distance of my home so my commute is easy. San Luis has pockets of homes and businesses. There is a down town area. I live away from that. Traffic is increasing and can be an issue at the end of the day. There is a bus stop however buses are infrequent. "
