4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStarting with the principal- she leads by example. She is always available and is always involved. Teachers- They interact with the kids effectively but know how to have fun with them as well. They are empathetic to those who need a little extra attention but set boundaries where more discipline is needed. They go out of their way to be available to parents who have questions or concerns, and they welcome any extra help or volunteer work in and out of the classroom.PTA and Parents- So many programs are available and thriving in this school because of the PTA and parents who volunteer time, donate money, and plan events. The kids- the kids come from all different backgrounds and can really learn from each other by learning about each other. Showing good character is rewarded here, but also expected, which I think it wonderful. This school is great because of all the involvement and open communication from all parts.Parent Review6y ago - Ramona High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest son only went for 3 months in 2019. Violence and drug use has serious for years. My younger son is there now. COVID has created a climate of confusion and a lack of drive in a lot of students that is not being helped much by a lack of tight deadlines and or consequences from the staff. I feel they school focuses mostly on the good/ambitious/ obedient students and the athletes than encourages those who need extra help and a guidance. Unfortunately there is very little choice as it really is the only traditional high school in town. We are moving out of the district at the end of this school year because we need our son to be in a better environment.Parent Review1y ago - Olive Peirce Middle School
