3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRegistration staff is rude and condescending they do not understand that if you do not have the birth certificate you can use other documents and that if they deny a student enrollment into their school based on not having the birth certificate they are in violation of the federal law and several staff members have stated that they are not in violation the federal law they don't have to abide by it and they're all rude disrespectful I would never recommend a child go to the school even if they were desperate and this was the score the only had an available space I would not enroll a child thereParent Review1y ago - Herbert Hoover Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of two students at Hoover middle school. Though the test scores are low I have seen a high amount of "personal fraternization" between staff, especially from the library media teachers, speaking openly about subjects non- "professionally appropriate" for a school zone, in my opinion. Higher focus on student learning would be nice.Parent Review9y ago - Golden Valley High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing campus to work at. I feel supported by both administration and parents, which is not always the case at other schools. I have some of the best kids in the district in my classes and for the most part, they all work hard and do their best. This is a wonderful school!!!Teacher Review5y ago - Check out schools near 789 E 23rd St.

"Merced i actually a pretty alright city to live in. There isn't a lot of social sites or things to do but the city is definitely growing and expanding into a nice place. The crime and violence has significantly decreased through out the passing years and the school all seem to do a great job with our education. It's definitely a much cleaner and nicer city than nearby areas like Fresno or Modesto. "
