8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe're still fairly new - my child is going through his second year at the school, so I'll be updating this as I spend more time at the school. Here are some things that I love about the school:The principal, administrative staff, and teachers are extremely supportive given the circumstances/resources they have. The school (PTA especially) makes diversity and inclusion a top priority - I have witnessed this personally as I've briefly served on the PTA. The school is constantly evolving and changing. From my understanding, the dual immersion program at the school is fairly new and every year they are making progress towards better serving their students. The principal and staff know students by name and staff is always present during school start/dismissal. The school has good safety protocol and my child has never experienced any bullying. Some things that can be a little challenging:Communication about events could be a little better, but I do feel is improving. That being said, there are online platforms and announcement bulletins that make the communications process easier.Parent Review2mo ago - Stanford Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids love this school, It's a nice place, the teachers are very friendly and it is very easy to communicate with them. The office staff is very friendly, and there is a lot of security and supervision for the students. I love it!Parent Review6mo ago - Wilson High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGraduating class of '23, this school has only gone down since i got here in 2019. Wilson does not have enough discipline when it comes to kids wandering campus during class or when it comes to vaping and drug use especially in bathrooms. Instead of punishing the children involved their solution is to lock up multiple bathrooms at the same time restricting access to the students. These "solutions" are all similar in nature when it comes to various problems. The school strongly favors minority groups and the amount of assignments and clubs and months and weeks surrounding "inclusivity" are outrageous. I do not feel represented in this school. This school is highly politically biased and I'll leave it at that. Many kids at this school have horrible attitudes and i feel that the low work ethics of said students brush off on others. I am not saying that all kids are like this, but a very high amount of them are. If I could pick my high school again I would not pick Wilson.Student Review1y ago - Check out schools near 4279 E Jacinto Way.
