8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter recently graduated from Smith (she went from Kindergarten all the way to 5th grade) and in hindsight, this was an excellent school. The pandemic time was tough due to virtual setup but that was a state-wide problem. All teachers we had were great and my daughter made a lot of friends despite being on the more introverted side. The atmosphere was just very positive and I appreciated that!! I would also advise others not to worry about the score of 7/10 that is noted on the website. We moved out of state and my son is now going to a school rated 10/10 and Smith was superior, both academically and socially.Parent Review1y ago - Granada High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is hoenestly really great, it takes time to find the right teacher just for you, to help you learn specifically. (We love Mr.K) The teachers on campus are realyl friendly and easy to talk too, you just need to be able to be open with them about help. But the students on campus need decipine. There is lots of things this school could be but the students need more help, but there is a mass amount of homophobia, xenophobia, genuine racism, ableism, and violence from the students. There were many tims on campus where I felt unsafe, and I couldn't open up to anybody about it. The support that my friends we're giving me couldn't be enough. I enjoy all the opertunites I get at this school, but the drawbacks make me thing that it isn't that great.Student Review1y ago - William Mendenhall Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is trash EVERYWHERE! They only care about money. Teachers stalk you as they eat, I saw a teacher in the girls bathroom one time in the middle of school! Food is unsanitary, oil everywhere. I could take a paper towel, put it on their food, and it would soak up in 2 seconds. This school goes against your constitutional right to remain silent, your 4rth amendendment of privacy. A school can only take your phone away if they suspect you of a crime, they have taken phones away because someone was texting their PARENTS!! PARENTS! WHAT?! Is this where you want your child to go? Do you want your child to be stressed with homework every day? This school gives you a 2 page essay and expects you to finish it in ONE NIGHT. they do NOT acknowledge your mental health or physical health. They always try to get you in trouble even if you're just joking around with your friends! unbelievable. Most of the students feel super uncomfortable with this school. A few times my teachers made kids cry! The teachers don't get ANY punishment and it is always the kids that are shamed, even if they did NOTHING wrong. This school also increases child endangerment- forcing us to run 2+ miles in HOT degree weather. I know students who have fainted, I personally, almost threw up! My friend had to get escorted out in a wheel chair because of this! Also, Child Labor. Big one, they force us to do stuff that we are legally not forced to do, and if we don't, we get harsh consequences. This goes for both mental and physical labor. How come the teachers get rewarded with money for working but when we work we get rewarded with one tiny popsicle? is this how you want your child to live? If not, don't send them to this school. And no, this is not an exaggeration but it is reality. Thank you. Lastly, they violate your right to freedom of speech-first amendment.Student Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 1682 Prima Dr.

"Easy. I just started a new job and have an approximately 1.4 mile drive to work. Takes me about five or six minutes. There is usually not much traffic just one school to go by which has a little congestion in the morning. Besides that my commute is very easy and comfortable. I do not want to move far away from where I am now because I want to stay close to my job."

"My neighborhood is very pet friendly. many people have dogs and cats and walk both on leashes! Everyone picks up after their animal, they also have bag caddies placed throughout the area to make it easy. Also, many restaurants and stores downtown alow your babies to shop and dine with their owners. Pets are also welcome at festivals and events downtown. There are also several shops that provide dog biscuits treats and water to their customers fuzzy babies. Yes, Livermore is a great place to have a pet. I love it here and so do my dogs!"

"Love living here! My only complaint is how expensive everything is here compared to other large city suburbs. Moved here from a place by Seattle and the rent and cost of living is at least twice the amount here than in my cozy place right on the waters of the Puget Sound. And the area is comparible to the lovely area I lived in Washington. It's not on the water, but it is in wine country and close to San Francisco. Other than that, this is a wonderful place to live with downtown festivals and events, theater; both movie and live performances, great shopping, farmers markets and surrounded by amazing wineries! You just can't go wrong here in Livermore, CA "

"Although a bit overpriced and cost of living is high, but in this case you get what you pay for... where I live off Railroad Ave I am within walking distance of almost anything I want or need. well maintained roads and sidewalks that are well marked and lit make it easy to get around. walking to events downtown or to the movies or a night out for great food and drinks becomes something that is perfered and not a necessity.. Traffic is good inside the city, but during rush hour the interstates and state routes are backed up. As everyone is comutting to and from San Francisco. Being around 50 miles from San Francisco makes it a great location if you work in the city. But traffic is a huge factor and you must leave a couple hours early to account for travel time. Livermore is also home to many amazing wineries! My only complaint is the wineries close too early, rolling up the carpets around 4pm or 5pm. putting the closing time at the start of the rush hour. But could have many weekends of exploring different vineyards via the wine trolly or taxi servie or Uber/Lyft and never get to them all... But you'll have a great time trying. "
