6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 2 kids have both been to this school. When we first moved to Orange, I went with greatschool rating & moved my kids to a different school as Lampson’s was lower. We had a few late attendance (it was a bit farther & i work at night, come home to drive my dtr to school) so we never got accepted to the same school with a better rating & had no choice but to enroll my kids to Lampson where we are assigned. I have to tell you, I don’t really understand why they have this rating. They deserve so much more! Their environment is multi racial, everyone (principal down to office staff) is kind; & respects all culture. Both my kids have never experience bullying, except one time w/ my son, while in kindergarten, got bullied by 2 of his classmates & his K teacher saw them - let them talk & all 3 of them became bestfriends after. Not sure with the details as my son just told me this story when he was in 1st grade already. Shoutout to Mr. Rawalt. - I have witnessed his patience with kindergartners in person & especially during the sudden virtual schooling changes. He is one of my son’s favorite teacher & that is saying a lot from someone who doesn’t like school! Special credits to Ms. McCabe & Ms. Nicholson too! Virtual teaching and teaching in person at the same time takes a lot of patience and skill! Sadly, we are moving to a different county & we have to leave Lampson. But I would like to add this review so future parents out there deciding about their kid’s school, Lampson is an awesome school! My eldest (dtr) has spent her 1st-4th grade here & shy as she is to others, she tells me how she loves her teachers in various ways. Special credits to Ms Hoy (1st grade) , Ms. Gutierrez (3rd grade) - My dtr has truly enjoyed her class because of you & i’ve seen how genuinely you love your job & your kids; Ms. Nghiem (2nd) & Ms. Chaudri (4th) - thank you for teaching my dtr discipline - it helps us as parents too! Just know you all are appreciated & we hear it from our kids even though you may not hear it from them & us parents all the time! You all deserve a raise. :)Parent Review2y ago - Orange High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon't take my word for it, but use any free time you have to come and explore one of the most beloved high schools in Orange County. No lip service when it comes to family, support, and opportunity; your kids WILL be great students and graduate not only with pride from the fruits of their labor, but with a sense of worth and a lifetime of experiences that have constructed the foundation for love, success, and life-changing relationships, from friends and faculty alike. Orange High School is a gem among gems and I promise... you will be HAPPY (forever) to be an OHS Panther!!Parent Review11mo ago - Portola Middle School
