4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my sons went to Mccardle. They had and still have an awesome teaching staff. They were very strict with discipline, and I appreciated that. The students could actually learn, rather than having the misbehaved students take over the class. Both sons went on to complete college and have amazing careers. "Everyone is festive for the most part, there are awesome yard sales here all the time, and the neighbors are very friendly. Almost all of us keep our yard up, very established neighborhood. Every morning/evening you will see people walking their dogs, taking a stroll with their little family, working out... nice place for children to grow up. "

"This is a high crime area south of shaw. I wish I could say it's getting better... I've been here 3 years and I'm feeling it's time to move. I love my apartment and owners the best! But one side of my street is having more police activity and drive by shootings. Safety first."

"Great neighborhood. All here have been friendly and helpful. Nice area to live in. Dogs are walked in the neighborhood but Pet owners are good about cleaning up after their pets. Never a problem since we moved here almost three years ago."

"Depending on which part of the neighborhood you are in, you might be required to get a Residential Parking Permit to park on the street during Fresno State Football home games. The first one is free, and additional ones can be purchased at City Hall for $19. "
