Things to love about living here: 1 mile from the coolest town but private and quiet; tree house living is awesome; private hot tub and outdoor shower; new decks and gardens; outside living in good weather, but when you're inside, it's bright and has beautiful outdoor views.

For potential buyers: new standing seam roof, new insulation and windows, heating and hot water systems, private road recently paved, new french drain into driveway, new retaining walls properly drained, extensive new gardens with irrigation system, bottom storage platform (great tent platform space for overflow guests!). Stays cool even on HOT days. Private quiet road.

PROPERTY may be for sale in the near future if interested. Lease duration is 1-4 months. Leasee is responsible for water*, gas/electric* - *utilities that when you pay for it, you're more likely to conserve). Owners take care of bi-weekly housekeeper and trash/recycling.

"The Redwood Road neighborhood of Fairfax is a wonderful place to live. We have been here for over 15 years and love it! We have raised our daughter here and also have two pets (a dog and a a cat) and it is an excellent place for kids and pets. There is also plenty of beautiful open space nearby where you can hike, bike, or just picnic. Mt Tam is nearby, as are the local lakes which provide even more hiking possibilities. Downtown fairfax is a mere one mile walk down the hill. Fairfax is a great little town with lots of local businesses. The folks in this area are very friendly and helpful, and the schools are excellent. m Fairfax is one of those places that still has the flavor of Marin from 'back in the day' when it wasn't so expensive and built up.
