8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDavis High is a great school with great teachers. My son is a senior and has had a great experience. Competition is pretty high as the town (Davis) is a small community with a very large University of California campus, and thus is filled with parents who have advanced degrees and very high academic standards. I suspect academically weaker students will feel this, but on the other hand academically talented students will have the opportunity to excel. If your child is not academically strong (or at least average) they may be best served by other alternatives in Davis (Da Vinci High), a private school, or in nearby high schools.Parent Review7mo ago - Pioneer Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of our kids have spent a few years at Pioneer so far. Excellent curriculum with lots of diversity in thought and we felt that the teachers have cared about the growth and development of our child. Teachers have high standards, which is what you would expect from a school in this particular area. We will be sending our other kids here when they get older.Parent Review1mo ago - Frances Ellen Watkins Harper Junior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHarper is a terrible school. The education is bad and the staff is horrible. But the sports are good hence why I gave 1 star.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 3230 Albany Ter.

"lots of grass for dogs to poop and pee. however, this area is extremely expensive. so, if you want to live here, you probably can't afford to have a dog. You'll probably barely be able to take care of yourself. good luck! we're all doomed here in California. "

"Fabulous old neighborhood that will be turning over very soon. Many houses are getting renovated and put up for sale. Careful of where you buy though. Certain neighborhoods have access to pools and gyms and some do not. Make sure you decide carefully"
