5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagelots of bullying and discrimination between students in this school, the staff "raises awareness", but it is not effective because they do not know how to handle actual bullying. the teachers are kind, but most of them do not know how to handle a chaotic classroom nor do they know how to show authority. "Cypress is pretty nice, clean, safe , secure and lively place to live. It has good quality schools, less traffic and quite neighborhoods. Couple of good public gardens are also around where you can go for walk. People around are nice, have not seen any unpleasant incident in my last 2 years of stay. Community has mix of people from all over the world. I recommend this place for stay."

"People are walking dogs all the time and it’s a pleasant environment for animals. However, be careful of coyotes because they are very present. Walk dogs close by and on a leash to be safe. Many coyotes have been seen in the area and reports of attacking small animals are not uncommon. Unfortunately with the river beds nearby, there isn’t much that can be done except being aware of your surroundings and being prepared. "
