N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a father of 2 children who attend Paradise Elementary School. We've been living in Paradise since September 2013. My daughter has attended Paradise Elementary for 3rd and 4th Grades so far and my son is in Kindergarten. I've been very impressed with the quality of teachers and staff there so far. I have learned that the years in elementary school are both critical and special in developing children. I think Paradise Elementary provides a well rounded curriculum which meets the kids' scholastic and social needs. The extra curricular activities such as field trips, child performances, school fairs and open house nights are enjoyable for both the children and parents. My wife and I have also enjoyed the opportunities to participate in our kids' education by volunteering in the classroom to help the teachers with anything they need. Some people prefer not to help in the classroom, I personally believe it is beneficial for everyone because it helps the parents stay connected with their children, the teacher as well as the curriculum.Parent Review9y ago - Paradise Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from this high school just after the Covid epidemic. The school enviroment provided a lot of opportunity and an diverse set of classes. Ideally, the school was meant to set you up for college. However, the biggest downside was the counseling, which was always hard to work with or even get an appointment to. They should have also encouraged more hands on experience for how to apply to colleges or financial aide in the futute. Otherwise, the teachers were all quite supportive, and student engagement with clubs were incredibly high.Other Review1mo ago - Check out schools near Chico.

"It’s very peaceful a lot of the time! Sometimes there will be fireworks around holidays and weirdos speeding, but other than that, it’s nice"

"Area is very pet friendly. Lots of people walking their dogs but not too much foot traffic. Night walks not suggested because of low visibility and some high vehicle traffic by main roads"

"Cars drive quickly through the neighborhood. So kids need to watch out. The neighborhood feels like the 50’s in how close ours neighbors our. There is a sense of community that it very hard to find. You could leave your front door unlocked and most likely no one would try to get in. It feels safe"

"I don’t have any commute. I travel inside town and sometimes out of area. There is traffic sometimes but since the devastating fire in Paradise displaced all the people who lived there into my city. So we all just need to be patient. "
