8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had my children and other family members attend BVHS. Wonderful caring teachers, incredible and very involved Principal and admin. Athletics are very good, with both female and male sports inclusive and successful. More than half the student body plays a sports at the school. Band, Music Machine, Dance Team, Sports Medicine program, BVTV, IB/AP classes are some other amazing programs offered. We have known many students involved in a variety of these activities, all have had great experiences. We are lucky to have this school in our community.I also read some other reviews and felt compelled to write about our personal experiences. There are always kids and parents who don’t have as good of an experience. I have noticed less involved parents/kids in general in society…who like to blame others and not take accountability. She has 2 teachers one teaches spanish and the other english. We love that it feels like a small school with about 500 students and that for the most part parents are involved. "I've lived in bonita 2yrs. I have never felt attached to the community the way I do here. There is a small town feel here , when I go to the store the clerk remembers me, I also frequently run into my kids school teachers and classmates and thier families. There are good restaurants, stores and an excellent library close to downtown but semi-rural feel. Just a great blend."

"We love living here. It is a small sheltered community in the big city. Has the rural feel while being 13 miles from Downtown and Mission Valley. Tons of walking and bike trails. We can ride horses, play golf, search for turtles in the creek, feed the ducks, go fishing at morrison pond, go on hikes, use the great library and nice park facilities all within easy walking distance of our home. "
