Description

This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from December 14, 2021
Welcome to the most prestigious street in Downtown Anaheim! Clementine Street. Wide, lined with mature palm trees, gorgeous homes… a real sense of place here on Clementine Street. The Behrns House was originally constructed in 1947, a custom built home for $9,000. Over the years the house would stay in pristine vintage condition, lovingly cared for by the few families who have lived here, each for over a decade, such a lovely comfortable home to live in. There is a formal front entry with inlaid wood floors, a large open living room with gorgeous smooth plaster walls, a perfectly sized formal dining room and the sweetest period kitchen that you have ever seen. There are three spacious bedrooms, one full bath and one powder room. There are two doors to the spacious backyard. The lot size is over 7,500 square feet which is larger than most lots in the area and features a large mature tree. Visit the City of Anaheim’s tree power program to obtain several more trees, including fruit trees, for free! Other amenities include a new central air and heating system, front driveway AND large access to the back yard from the alley for extra parking for RV, boat and more. The current family has owned the Behrns home since 1998 and applied for and received the prestigious Mills Act designation. The Mills Act is a property tax credit program where the new owner is not going to receive a supplemental tax bill and their taxes will be inherited from the current owner with little to no change. The current property taxes are $3,320.70 per the OC assessor's website. The Mills Act is concerned with the front facade of the home. You can visit the City of Anaheim’s website for more info. This home could be yours for the holidays!

"It’s dangerous and super sketch . No parking EVER ! Your car could be stollen from your driveway so don’t even pull in leave it running while you go inside to grab something . Homeless population digs through trash so shred everything . Neighbors are very loud and disrespectful across the board . It’s not unusual to have noise from a party well until 1/2 am . Cars typically double park or park in a fashion where you can not exit your own driveway. "
