4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school used to be exceptional. My two kids have attended Mesquite for the last three years. The first two years were awesome. The teachers were fun and enthusiastic about teaching and the Principal was the best. She was fun and cared for those kids as if they were her own. The kids loved her. She retired at the end of the school year in 2014. The district transferred another Principal from another school to take the helm of the "A" school and she has been the worst tyrant I have ever experienced in a Principal. The environment changed from fun and enjoyable, my kids loved to go to school. Their teachers were happy and they were learning. This year when you walk into the school, those same teachers are so unhappy. It feels like you are walking into a jail where the teachers are trapped and the kids feel that. That influences their love of learning and love of school. It is such a shame. I hope the district listens to the parents and makes a change. With that being said, my children will not be attending Mesquite anymore.Parent Review8y ago - Cibola High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been at Cibola for four years. It’s been a mediocre experience. The teachers are middle of the road. Some of them care and some of them do enough to earn a paycheck. The saving grace has been that my son has been able to find solace and safety with Mrs KB. That woman is spread very thin yet she finds time to return calls in the evenings. She is a saint. My son has never met the principle and he’s never been in trouble but when he was in need of extra support he knew who to turn to. Unsung heroes do not wear capes. Please recognize this lady for all she does for students.Parent Review11mo ago - Yuma Online Distance Academy

"my neighborhood is alright if you're on the straight and narrow. I'm sure if a person were using or selling illegal drugs in my neighborhood then it'd cause you a lot of drama. I'm pretty sure there's at least one on every block. I have been clean for years but it makes me cringe when I see someone who looks messed up. it's like I want better for the person. other than all of that, this is a pretty quiet neighborhood."

"This neighborhood is family friendly and very quiet. There are a lot of barking dogs though, so if that is a problem, Mountain View is definitely not the place for you. "
