6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei have two girls; both have gone to dreaming summit since kindergarten...one is currently in middle school and the other is finishing up her last year at dse. certainly with having children at the school for the last 6+ years there are a few incidents i wasn't pleased with, but i would definitely not let them define my total experience with the school or the staff. i think overall the staff are truly concerned with the students and community. the school is very involved with the community and do SO many activities throughout the year. The curriculum is good and the teaching methods used have always kept my kids involved and very interested in their studies. She went from wanting to stay home everyday to being excited to go to school. The staff and administration and especially Ms. Walker for granting the variance. This time of year we have many things we share we are thankful for....this school is amazing and so very grateful my daughter is a student there....did I mention she went from failing grades to high honor roll! 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff here is very knowledgeable, and it seems like most of the teachers have been teaching for a long time. The staff is very accommodating towards students with special needs. The facility is a mixed bag though. There are parts of the facility that are old and not in good shape, but the newer parts of the facility are phenomenal. As of 2023 I understand that the facility is getting a makeover in some of the older parts, but we'll see. They also have metal detectors at all the main entry points, and I fell like that was a great investment, as it helps maintain safety for all who utilize the campus. However, the metal detectors have made school drop off and pick up a nightmare. Essentially, there is no dropping off right on time, or a little after the bell rings., you're either really early, or really late, no in between.Overall this is a great school, and they do an excellent job of teaching students in a fair and equitable way.
