6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have never had a problem with my daughters education, until Mena Middle School. As the only other parent that commented on this page for reviews, my daughter went from all A's and B's to C's and D's in the second semester. When I followed up with the teachers to find out why I was never notified until report cards of this drop, they assured me they would communicate better the next grading period. Instead regardless of numerous emails and visits to the school teachers and principals, my daughters grade in 1 class has only dropped.Parent Review12y ago - Holly Harshman Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of Holly Harshman you could not pay me to rate this school it has gone down hill this year If I had any other place I could send my kid I would The teachers just do not care about these kids here at all maybe their over worked are what ever but they just dont When you here this from over 200 other parents then thats when you know it is not you are your child it is the teachers and the school is not doing its job that we pay them to do...Teach Not Down Grade our Children...Parent Review14y ago

"The neighborhood is a quiet, family oriented area. It is close to everything, and far enough from the main roads to be safe to walk, bike, and play without worrying too much about traffic."

"Ok area for retirees although not much to do for those either, NO jobs and those that are here are minuim wage. NO activities for kids/teens. No malls, one old movie theater that is terrible. "
