Not only does Gulf Shores offer the traditional sports, but Bowling, Cross Country, Indoor Track, Swimming, and Wrestling are established programs as well. The students are well mannered and respectful at this school, and the faculty truly works together to “Make Waves.”I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this system, and I “can’t wait” to see the future of GSCS.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 22984 Perdido Beach Blvd #C33.

"I love it here bc I have lived here my hole life. There are lots of welcoming parks and it is easy to make friends here for the kids, always new people. Not gonna lie there is a lot of traffic, but you get used to it and start to see all the beautiful things about the city "

"Long drives and parking for beaches are very limited! Even longer drives to get to the grocery stores and back! Summer traffic is horrible 2 hours to move 4 miles at times! "

"Gulf Shores is definitely a tourist hotspot. When weekends come you can't really get a good parking spot at the beaches, so be prepared to walk. Also, most beaches here do not allow your pets at all. If you have a cabana at the beach, you'll be far back and not closer to the water. This place is pricey when it comes to eating out. I'd say overall, it is a great vacation spot. "

"If you're considering moving here from out of state there are a few things to consider first. The public schools aren't all that good. The groceries are expensive. There isn't a really good night life here, incase you're needing a night out. Most restaurants we've been to allow smoking. The school bus driver yelled and pointed in the children's faces most of the time throughout the year. "

"The Rookery. It’s quaint breath taking it’s like your living in your own little island. Beautiful bridge landscaping pools areas to eat and entertain. Walking path across from the beach . People drive around in golf carts not cars , restaurants a little drive down the main road and a grocery store. The people there are so nice they talk to you and welcome you straight away want to know you offer help and want to meet you again . Our first night socializing we had a conversation with every one around the bar . So unusual but fantastic. It doesn’t matter if you are retired newly married a server or a golden globe winner your all treated the same . I finally found home . "
