6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCentre Elementary is a wonderful school! I was worried about my son adjusting well since we preschooled at home, but his teachers are outstanding and care very much about helping their students adjust into "big school". There are many assignments for the parents to help get their child get ahead, or work on areas they may be having trouble with that the teachers go out if their way to make available. There are also many programs and groups to help parents make sure their child is getting the full educational experience they deserve. Centre Elementary really stresses a well balanced effort between the family and the teachers to make sure all the children have the tools they need, and I couldn't be more pleased that my son gets to learn and grow here. I have not had a single issue and would highly recommend any family looking into other surrounding areas (like Hokes Bluff or Sand Rock) to take a tour at this school before deciding where your family would be most comfortable making a home.Parent Review10y ago - Centre Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are a couple of really good instructors. The rest punch the clock and really do more harm than good. There are a lot of really good kids in the community but they are totally unmotivated by the school and the teachers.Parent Review11y ago - Gaylesville High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school would be a great school if they would stop bully's they should stop it!! What surprises me the most is the kids who are doing it at this school it's all about who you are who your family is teachers kids are the worse they think they are above everyone else and if your into sports you can do whatever you want I've had kids and now grandchildren who go there now and it's getting worse how about teaching our kids to befriend someone who's not fitting in so well lift them up not break them down everyone needs to feel like they matter it takes one person to change a kids out look about them self good or bad they should start school out every morning with that being said no my kids have not been bullied but they talk about others and I tell them if I ever heard them bully another child I would show up at their class and show them how it feels kids should not have to hate to go to school everyday do to words that hurt so sand rock do the right thing for our children stand up !!!Other Review8y ago - Spring Garden High School

"My commute is very easy and only takes 5 minutes. However the Main Street can get busy during the day. One good thing is there are three interstate exits; south end, middle of town and north end so you can always jump on that to get somewhere else quicker. The only con is the downtown roads are in need of repair. They are bumpy."
