1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOk, I want to set the record straight. The post from September states the exact opposite of what things are like at Tarrant High School. This school does not care if you make it it to college, as long as they get rid of you they don't care about you. Students are prevented from learning on a daily basis by people who show out in class. And people wonder why we have such a high drop-out rate.Student Review14y ago - Tarrant Intermediate School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOver all this has been the worst school year with my daughter; the teacher had absolutely no control what so ever over her entire class room! In result my daughter & a couple other smart students were not able to receive their full learning experience during the 4th grade year due to all of the other students cutting up & nothing being done about it. Not to mention my daughter cried just about every day because she hated going to school. Nothing was ever done to resolve the matter either.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 1606 Jackson Blvd.

"The first time I drove to this neighborhood, I was a little worried until I was actually in the neighborhood. The outskirts don’t seem the best, but this area is so cute. All of our neighbors are friendly and everyone keeps their houses/landscaping up to par. A lot of families live here, and everyone seems to have a dog (which I adore). It’s fairly calm. I always feel safe. We’re so close to downtown; Restaurants, stores and shops are endless and easily accessible. My biggest and only complaint would be the roads. They need some major TLC, but if you’ve ever lived in Birmingham, you’d probably already expect that. Commuting to work in Vestavia normally takes between 16-22 minutes. Not terrible at all. Overall, can’t recommend this area enough!!"
