How to be a great contributor:

Be helpful! Our neighborhood recommendations are intended to provide helpful, relevant neighborhood specific insights for people who are searching for their next home to rent or buy. The content in your recommendation should:

  • Describe what it feels like to live in your neighborhood"
  • Highlight what’s special or unique about it"
  • Share important things that someone considering a move would want to know
  • Tell what you wish you’d known before you moved in
  • Stay specific to your neighborhood
  • Talk about personal experiences in your own words

    • What to avoid:

    Please be respectful of others and do not submit a neighborhood recommendation that include any of the following:

    • Language that is foul, profane, vulgar, obscene, threatening, sexual or inappropriate, or that endorses or promotes illegal or hateful activity
    • Personally identifiable or private information about an individual, including names, phone numbers or email addresses
    • Personal attacks and/or patently offensive or discriminatory, libelous, defamatory, harassing, threatening or inflammatory comments or hate speech
    • Comments that indicate a preference for or against residents in the neighborhood based on race, color, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation, age or marital, familial status or any other protected class
    • Political statements, rhetoric or ideologies
    • Advertising, logos, links or company names, including individual or commercial phone numbers, email addresses or website URLs
    • Any promotional or commercial content, including a review or comments about a specific business
    • Content relating to a particular property
    • Content that otherwise violates any law, rule or regulation, including fradulent content, phishing, or spam
