My grandson has gone to this school from k5 - 2 grade. We pulled him out for 3rd grade because bullying and some health issues. He was was home schooled and we decided to put him back into this school for 4th grade and it was the worst thing we could have done for him. The bullying was everyday by a few kids. He was called names, hit, and humiliatorizated and no punishment for the boys that were constantly doing it. Going to school everyday was like torture for him. We of course notified the school constantly, but nothing changed or got better. They did nothing . My daughter and I went to speak with the teacher as we were picking up my grandson earlier. When the can into the hallway she started yelling at my grandson and i told her to stop yelling at him. Then she started yelling at me and she had her hands clinched into a fest. I wouldn't recommend this school for anyone that is even considering sending their children to this school. Shame on Hawley for not doing anything about the bullying! Look at all the School shootings that was based off of bullying and racism. This school has done nothing to stop the problem.

Woodlands is a wonderful school with caring staff!

While this school aims to do well it doesn't; by a long shot actually. My child recently switched schools & while in the new school was asked what was their most embarrassing moment was & I kid you not, my child mentioned attending this school. Schools are meant to service the community. I was always under the impression the community served the school or owner for that matter. The staff & administration is very unorganized. Anyone can slap a fancy name on a school, rent a couple classrooms hire half a staff & call themselves a "school". The teachers cared but only about as much as their paychecks. I can only imagine how well they were paid . All my kids did all day was math & came home w basic HW. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. No science, gym, music, Spanish etc. Very basic.
