Wonderful school, amazing teachers and paras. Every person in the school is very approachable and caring.

This school is amazing!! They have excellent teachers who really truly care about your child and their educational needs. They will work with the parent to find the best solutions! They are never negative and always positive.If it doesn't work they don't give up and are amazing at trying different options. 5 stars go out to Ms Copus, Ms Simmons, Ms Knutson, Ms Moss, Ms Swiggum and ms Bruden , and so many others. Mr Antony is the principal and he sets the stage for this. Hats off to him for listening to his teachers and giving them some flexibility to make our kids the best that they can be and to LOVE school. THANK YOU

Through the supportive staff and the IB model, my kids have learned life long skills that will set them up for success in the future. They invite family in for several events that truly embody the International part of their name. Full of diversity and opportunities, we chose NWI for our children. Spanish is also taught in rotation with specials such as Art, Music, and PhyEd.

We have been in 3 school districts due to moves, each working their hardest to provide for the kids on limited resources. We love public education and Emerson has knocked it out of the park for us. Amazing staff that are supportive and responsive. When something has come up, or additional support is needed, they partner with you to make a plan. My favorite part is the community this school offers. Parents are very involved and present at pick up, creating quick connections and familiarity. This school feels like family.

I'm not sure about the data used for ranking schools when Northside Elementary was recognized by the Wisconsin dpi as a 2012-2013 school of recognition for closing achievement gaps. This rating system seems seriously flawed.
