The additional staff I have interacted with are all kind and take time to know the students too. The principal has even gotten her dog trained as a therapy animal! The program is IB, so the children start learning Spanish as soon as they start school. Every year with the combined efforts of the teachers/administration and parents supporting the students, the test scores are going up. They make sure to keep families involved too. There are many opportunities to go to the school to have activity days with the children (tie dying shirts, concerts, and joining in for PE are some I've been to). They have two show choir teams and every extracurricular class is enjoyed by my child. They also are able to do community things as well. When I first moved to the neighborhood I got a gift of a painted birdhouse from a kindergartner. And my son has gone to the elderly care home around the corner multiple times to bring art/flowers. I truly cannot say enough good things.Parent Review11mo ago7 Reviews - Keller Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school for my kids and my kids love this school too. I'll start off to say we are Native American. And my children are treated just as fairly as the other students. We are a low income family and the school social worker has worked very hard to help us out with resources in situations where we needed it (winter clothes, energy assistance ect.) My son was very behind on reading because he was in virtual learning in the 2020-2021 school year (thanks covid). He was put in a block for 30 minutes a day for a small group or one on one reading lessons which helped GREATLY and in 3 semesters he's caught up to the rest of his peers in reading and writing. My daughter had some behavioral blocks going into kindergarten and they set her up with the school counselor which has also greatly improved her school experience. The teachers are great and understanding. And I greatly appreciate everyone who works together with our family to meet our goals academically. Even emotionally my daughter can be standoffish with some people, it was making her anxious to go to school. I asked for a conference with her teacher regarding this and we came up with a plan to help her feel more comfortable at school. Overall this school is amazing. I've wanted to move because my apartment isn't ideal for us at this time but because the school has been so amazing and the kids love going to this school we have decided to stick around a little longer. Communication with the teachers and staff is SO important when it comes to making sure you and your children's voices are heard and I might add CIVIL communication. No school is perfect, but their willingness to understand and help my children and I has been absolutely outstanding.Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Forest Glen Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has attended this school since 1st grade. Her 1st & 2nd grade teachers were magnificent. They communicated effectively & seemed to really care & be invested in the development of the children & my child flourished & excelled under their tutelage. When my child started 3rd grade the school, teacher, & system really disappointed me. Our 3rd grade teacher is failing to help my child. The teacher has been emailed & asked repeatedly by me to help my child with math learning issues. When the teacher actually responds to my emails she states that she is unaware of any problems. I ask my child if she has been helped after my emails & she received help with only one of the several issues she was having. The teacher being unaware seems like negligence as my child is crying in class due to being unable to understand, how could the teacher miss that. Class sizes are too large at 25 kids, what is needed are more teachers so the kids can receive the attention they deserve. It is sad that my child who loved school dreads it now and feels that her teacher is deliberately ignoring her! It is a real shame!Parent Review11y ago5 Reviews - Green Bay Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy time at this school was unbearable, if you don't "fit in" you are an easy target here for bullying. and the administration will do nothing to prevent it. PLEASE! do not send your child here.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Bay City Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall it sucked. The academic and Biblical teaching great. But doing in what they preach? No. They do not enforce rules for certain people because their families pay more money. Even one of the staff members said this to my face. She was honest. Which I liked. I had no problems with her personally. But the fact that is the truth is crazy. Also there have been several families who have left due to bullying from the students and the administrator doing nothing about it. Very sad that they preach kindness and do not enforce that amongst students. Also the teachers are hit or miss some really sweet and I enjoyed. Some should never have gotten a doctorate or a teaching license. Kids. Some good apples. But the ones who are allowed to do whatever they want and act ugly speak louder than the good ones. Which is highly unfortunate because the school looks good on paper but sucks. The administrator is a micromanager on things that do not matter. He focuses on the parking lot rather than cracking down on the bullying issues and problems that are actually relevant.Student Review1mo ago10 Reviews - New Leaf Prep Academy
