Chegwin elementary school is/was a great school for our children. For families that are engaged in their children's education, Chegwin offers a higher teacher to student ratio than surrounding schools and provides opportunities and attention that they likely don't receive at schools with greater students per teacher ratios. The teachers at Chewin are wonderful.

My son has gone here for the last few years. So far this school and administrators have been amazing to work with compared to our other schools. Very impressed.

The teachers make learning fun and challenging. They know their students and genuinely care about their wellbeing and growth. I also like the focus on field trips and cultural exposure. These students are well educated.

I have a child with special needs here. I finally don't have to fight to get what he needs. The team here is amazing. From the principal to the Janitors. They are all wonderful!!

I've had kids at this school for years. Now I only have 1 left there. One I pulled because they would not follow his IEP or provide a stable special education environment for my child. The policies and staff have gone down hill over the years. There are still a few good ones. But many are retiring now at this point. This school is over rated.

I am a past student. SMSA created religious trauma and only teaches about Jesus, students in need of advanced education get no attention whatsoever and have to work at the same speed and level as everyone else
