"We have a really great neighborhood park that provides lunches and crafts for the kids in the summer. Sometimes it has movies in the summer. Also kickball. We have a neighborhood picnic in the summer. People are really friendly."

"I am retired so I do not commute. However the bus stops are right on my street across from me and one block up. Two blocks away is a major road that connects with I5"

"Always sunny and busy in fourth plain. Nice coffee shop in the lot next to plaid pantry. Always stop before work. "

"Lots of people walk their dogs here. Lots of side walks and a couple parks nearby. In the summer people take their dogs to the park behind the school. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 12 years and loved it. it is a family-friendly area. the park is great. I feel safe here even when I take my dog out in the middle of the night. parents feel safe enough to let their kids play at the park unsupervised. people are very friendly and many folks walk their dogs and pick up after them."

"A bad element usually takes over the parks here. They aren't kid-friendly. I have seen people smoking out og glass pipes, sleeping in the bushes, defecating in the bushes, showering in the water faucet, and screaming and fighting regularly. I have personally had packages and garden tools stolen from my porch, and my car has been vandalized. I've also had to chase out vagrants sleeping on my property. As soon as it gets dark, they come out and run around all through the neighborhood going through everyones bins and stealing whatever they can. I don't feel safe and can't wait to leave this dangerous and over priced neighborhood."

"Love it. Lots of people walk their dogs and after hours you can run your dogs off leash at the school (just pick up after them). "

"It is a very walkable neighborhood with lots of shops and activities nearby. Because the school is in the heart of the neighborhood, it feels like a real community. The old houses are beautiful, and most residents take care of their homes "

"Hough is my favorite neighborhood in Vancouver. Living here is super convenient to uptown and downtown. Hwy 14 and I5 access is great too. "
