Ellsworth

The quality of everything at this school is very poor. The administration cares not about families and will lie to protect themselves. There is a new building, but that means little when the people who are supposed to be educating the children act like they wish they would be anywhere else. There is a substantial amount of bullying, theft, and violence. All of which nothing is done about. Avoid this school at all costs.

This school goes above and beyond for the kids, changes are happening all the time, and growing pains are always rough. Throughout covid my Kindergartener got to go to class part time, which was great as she learns better that way. They have a newly formed PTO that is putting events on for the community, teachers go out of there way to help children, my daughter has extra needs for learning and she continuously gets attention from specialists to help her, and its helping. All schooling needs us parents to be apart of it, and there is no lack of that, tons of parent involvement, teacher parent interaction.

Hands down a 5 plus star experience. My son and I moved her out of state and this is his fir year at Ellsworth. I have never had one issue with the school staff. Not one. They are professional, attentive, communicative and just fun! As a parent in a new neighborhood, where I don’t know anybody, Ellsworth has made us feel like we’re home. My sons teacher, Mrs. Cabe is astounding at her job. When your child comes home from school, and still talks about school…. Then the school is doing everything right! Their jobs are just as important as the parents in shaping who are children become. The principal, Mr. Schiewe … this is a person who was born to serve the kids, not the “people” but the kids. That’s the job of a principal in my opinion. And I drop off my son every morning and watch the principal hive five each kid, smile at each kid, acknowledge each kid… Thwt acknowledgment alone is what builds trust when our children are away from their parents!

This school literally traumatized me and my friend group. It tore apart my friend group because of bad emotional support. We'd been bullied in around 3rd grade, and despite telling the coach several times, the bully never stopped or got in trouble. Plus, when I went there, the school was obsessed with getting a rid of tag. So much so, that when some kids chased my friends, and one of them got harmed, my friends were sent to the office and were told "tag bad." Like, one of your students is currently thinking about harming themselves, and you're enforcing rules that don't need to be enforced. Please check in on students every once in a while, especially the older kids. just because they're older doesn't mean they're more mature. Thank you if you read this.
