6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does its best to cater to the modern day challenges of its' diverse population. Our family has witnessed first hand how the staff, and administration, alter their approach, specifically relating to the implementation of curriculum to accommodate all of their students. The teachers hold to their standards while adjusting, when needed, to the needs of the children. Utilizing modern educational techniques, and resources, these dedicated teachers are providing this population with a proper foundation from which to grow. An added bonus is the parental support that is evident at various after school programs, and special activities. It truly is a village school. Kudos!Parent Review12y ago5 Reviews - Mid Vermont Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had the wonderful opportunity of working at Mid-Vermont Christian School years ago, and I must say that it was an amazing experience! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I taught at this school, and the staff, faculty, and students are nothing other than INCREDIBLE and AMAZING in every way. They are kindhearted, filled with joy, loving, God-honoring, and Christlike, and this school places a strong emphasis on Biblical values and academic success. The staff and faculty are strongly dedicated to the success of their students, and the parents are likewise supportive of the faculty, for the most part. I highly recommend this school to any parent who is a born-again Bible-believing Christian.Other Review10mo ago3 Reviews - Upper Valley Waldorf School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a mixed bag. On one hand the early childhood And early grades is an amazing experience for children with great teachers and a nice curriculum. The teachers are dedicated and the school offers small classes. The older grades and the school leadership is a big challenge and they have some weird rules that are borderline sexist and discriminatory to anyone who does not conform to what they call “wholesome” presentation. Lots of rules for parents and they forget sometimes that they are not in charge of the parents or their parenting choices. Our child had some learning challenges that were not even noticed until 3rd grade which to us was a huge problem. I think this school is fine if you can put up with the poor leadership, poor communication and don’t mind the lack of diversity or progressive content. The school says they are non-denominational but they say blessings with the words god and lord in them every day and the curriculums are heavily weighted to Christian stories, plays etc. My son learned the Ten Commandments for example. On the whole an ok choice given the limited private schools in the upper valley but we were ready to leave after a few years due to concern about the academic side of things, learning differences and issues with leadership.Parent Review10mo ago14 Reviews
