8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis upcoming school year will be my children's second year attending and we love this school!!! I have never witnessed a greater staff or a better principal! He is very involved with the children and their activities. Its so wonderful to see someone in leadership be so "fun like" involved with elementary students like he is.Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Academy School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur last public school experience was at a 10/10 on Great Schools. While we had high hopes for that school, they were only able to meet the needs of one type of learner. Here at Academy, they pride themselves on meeting many different learning styles exactly where they are...we are forever grateful.Other Review5y ago3 Reviews - Hilltop Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of a current student and find the leadership and staff to be strong and parents passionate. The new campus is lovely and it has been a year of many transitions, with more to come with a new head of school in 2010-11. In this time of change he school has stayed true to its philosphy while developing independent, critical thinkers, who are taught peace and respect in a safe and supportive environment. I feel fortunate to have my child in this learning enviroment.Parent Review16y ago1 Reviews - St Michael Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI sent four children to St. Michael’s, and while many of the teachers were excellent and genuinely cared about my kids, I can no longer recommend this school. The administration—particularly under Principal Elaine Beam—created an environment that was harmful to my family. My son attended St. Michael’s from kindergarten through grade 7, with no history of disciplinary issues. Without warning and without any prior discipline, he was removed from the school. This abrupt decision, made without meaningful communication or explanation, caused long-lasting emotional harm and disrupted his entire education. He was forced to start over in a new school where he knew no one, and it took him years to rebuild his confidence.During this time, my daughter—who was still enrolled—was terrified that she might be targeted next simply because she was related to him. No child should have to feel unsafe or singled out by the very people responsible for their well-being.What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability. Despite multiple attempts to speak with the priest responsible for overseeing the school, my calls were never returned. As a parent, this complete absence of communication was shocking and deeply disappointing. The teachers remain the one positive part of St. Michael’s, and I’m still grateful for those who supported my children. But as long as the current administration is in place, I cannot recommend this school. Based on my experience and the experiences of other families I’ve spoken with, there appears to be a troubling pattern of removing students—particularly boys—without transparent reasoning. I believe this warrants an independent review of administrative practices. If you are considering this school, I would urge you to reconsider and to look closely at how the administration handles students and families. No tuition cost is worth the trauma my children went through.Parent Review6mo ago14 Reviews - Neighborhood Schoolhouse

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageComplete fraudsters that don't know how too deal with children with aspergers syndrome. I would definitely not recommend putting a special needs child in their care, they are liberal actors with out actual degrees..Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - VT Center for Deaf/Hard Hearing
