9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can only speak for the Head Start/STEP program. However, what I will say is that our child started on a Thursday, and by Monday his teacher, the case manager, and Vice Principal had already decided to push our child out of the school without any prior communication with us. We feel this school is not well-equipped to handle young special education students.Parent Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJust new to the area from florida and teacher said my daughter was not following basic curriculum in front of my daughter and me, and she explained, we all know florida doesn't have good schools. Well she was on gifted program in FL and here not following basic curriculum? we is her support into new transplant into the area? did she ever study psychology? I don't think she knows what it means time to adapt or adaptation. How can a school in florida rates 10/10 and rosa lee is 7/10 and be better? I do believe school has good teachers and I firm believer that we should change teachers if we want. She did suggest all professionals in Florida were not truthful with my daughter. we got her on extra classes outside school and she is doing great, with a great teacher.Parent Review3y ago38 Reviews - Creighton's Corner Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter loved going to Kindergarten and didn’t want to leave Miss Kelly and Miss Scott’s class. The teachers were so fun and loving and taught the kids with so much patience and kindness. So thankful to them for being the best teachers possible for our children.Parent Review9mo ago38 Reviews - Moorefield Station Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMoorefield Station Elementary is a great school with a warm, welcoming environment. Principal Williams has really grown into her leadership role over the past few years and assembled a strong administrative team. They make an effort to be seen on rolling desks in hallways and classrooms as often as possible, speaking to children by name. Although there are quite a few new teachers, now that COVID is long gone and the transfers after the prior principal retired are over, the staff seem to be very content. The PTO has increased community involvement, especially in the past school year. There are academic and social programs offered and parents, as well as teachers, attend special programs (Bingo, Math Night, Musicals). The school now has great monthly Shark-of-the-Month assemblies which build community and celebrate student achievement. Overall, Moorefield Station is a wonderful place for young learners to thrive!Parent Review9mo ago24 Reviews - ROCK RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL
