9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your child does not have an IEP, this is a good school. If your child has any issues at all or is on an IEP, do not attend this school. There is no support for sp ed students who are not cookie cutter (clearly only one learning disorder diagnosed, etc). Also, small town politics run the discipline, PTA, and room parents. So if your kid is not a perfectionist and doesn’t fit in, it is a terrible experience. Some teachers are supportive.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Freedom Hill Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a second grader at this school and we have had a wonderful experience at Kent Gardens. The principal is about as engaged as can be and many of the teachers are long-time veterans who are so skilled at what they do, but also still have the passion after so many years of teaching. We have been thrilled with the teachers who go above and beyond. We have regular communication with them and I really get the sense that they care. Even though the French immersion classes are rather large in comparison with non-immersion classes (both at KT and other schools), they have extra help in the classroom and no one gets left behind. My child has attention deficit challenges and her teachers recommended her for special education. My child has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and we think the special education chair and her staff are really wonderful and supportive. When my child was testing behind the mark, the school rallied and organized small group work during 'PRIDE' time, set up the goals for improvement, worked with a counselor to learn some time management type skills during special lunch sessions and we supported as much as we could at home. My child had incredible growth in a very short time because of this. The school promotes respect, inclusion, diversity, and kindness. They have green, yellow, red, etc. houses representing different values that they promote and the kids and teachers are really enthusiastic about this. They also have a 'buddy system' pairing younger kids with older kids at the school, which has been a hit. Sixth graders are often put in leadership positions at the school and it is fun to see them thrive. I disagree with previous commenter about a 'toxic' environment. I haven't seen that at all. This school is special and the French immersion program is such a great offering. 5 stars!Parent Review2mo ago23 Reviews - Spring Hill Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 7 years old kids was dropped off in wrong bus stop and it was her second day using the school bus. Spoke with school rep, they told me that school transportation is separate entity they don't have control over transportation . School rep provided me transportation phone number, I called transportation they told me that 7 year old kid should know where to get off in their second day of using school bus. Bus drivers do not have list for the first few days of school where to drop off the kid. This mistake could have irreversible effect on parents and child if something would have happened to the kid. BIG trauma to kid and parents. FYI: School should have better coordination mechanism in place to force separate entity ((transportation)) to follow common sense guidelines.Parent Review10mo ago35 Reviews - Westgate Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school for Special Education kids. Teachers review IEP every year and follow it accordingly. Special Ed kids sit in least restrictive environment and get maximum support they need. 10/10 recommend this school.Parent Review1y ago26 Reviews - Ridgemont Montessori School
